We are currently recruiting for a part-time time Production Control Assistant to work in our hangar, located at Prestwick Airport.

You will be responsible to the engineering administrator manager for ensuring the administration support requirements listed below are met.

This title however does not define or limit your employment. You may also be required from time to time to undertake additional or such other duties, without additional remuneration, as the organisation may reasonably require whether undertaken on behalf of Storm Aviation or any Group Company. At all times you will use your best endeavours to promote, develop and extend the business, interests, and reputation of Storm Aviation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Full Base Administration Support that includes but not limited to;
    • Process Airport Access Pass Applications
    • Assist in arranging CRC’s and GSAT for airport pass applications
    • Arrange initial and annual Airside Driver Permit (ADP) applications
    • Arrange Night Worker & ADP Medicals
    • Booking Flights, Hotels and Hire Cars
    • Ensure MOT’s and Road Tax are up to date
  • Onboarding administration for New Starters, including setting up new starters on Maintenance Management System
  • Arrange requested First Aid and Fire Training for Line Station staff
  • Raise Purchase Requisitions when required
  • Oversight of Uniform Orders
  • Ensure Expiry Spreadsheet of Line Station staff details is kept up to date
  • Ensuring Act in Time is up to date recording absences, holiday requests and overtime is recorded and reported to payroll. You will cross reference to the manpower plan to ensure information is accurate. Recording of time sheets on Act in Time system.
  • Ensure that team members are signed in and out daily via the CAFAM system and ensuring team members have been issued with CAFM cards.
  • Generate and provide information monthly to payroll, Base Maintenance Manager and HR
  • Responsible for stationary orders and maintenance reporting of photocopiers and printers
  • Responsible for visitors to site including issuing of temporary passes
  • Cross cover with colleague counterparts during annual leave periods
  • Telephone answering and dealing with post & parcels


Essential Experience and Qualifications

  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of programs used in daily office administration functions such as Word and Excel
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Aptitude for helping others
  • Minimum of 1 years in an administration role
  • Aviation background would be beneficial
