Chevron Technical Services have an opening for a recruiter / administrator to work in our Manchester office, located on the Sharston Industrial Estate near Manchester Airport.

The normal working day is between 08:30 and 17:00 on Monday to Thursday and between 08:30 and 14:30 on Friday. 30 minutes is provided for lunch.

This role will predominately be as a recruiter however you will need to assist with the administration service to a range of stake holders and third parties.  The role is designed to assist with the smooth running of the office environment and ensuring professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities will include

  • Maintaining bespoke software for recruitment
  • Recruiting aviation personnel for long & short-term assignments
  • Developing relationships with existing customers
  • Maintaining relationships with contractors
  • Telephone answering and diverting to appropriate person
  • Greeting visitors
  • General office administration
  • Updating training spreadsheets
  • Booking travel for employees and contractors
  • Ordering of consumables

Experience/Competencies

  • Articulate with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • A team player who is approachable and can relate to people at all levels
  • Service driver with proven ability to work to stringent deadlines
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office: Excel/Outlook/Word/Powerpoint
