Job Purpose

The engineering administrator is responsible to the Engineering Administrator Manager for ensuring the administration support requirements of the relevant Line Stations are met.
At all times you will use your best endeavours to promote, develop and extend the business, interests, and reputation of Storm Aviation.

Key Responsibilities:

To Provide full administrative support for Gatwick Line Station which includes but not limited to;

  • Process Airport Access Pass Applications
  • Assist in arranging CRC’s and GSAT for airport pass applications
  • Arrange initial and annual Airside Driver Permit (ADP) applications
  • Arrange Night Worker & ADP Medicals
  • Coordinate the booking of Hearing Tests
  • Arrange requested First Aid and Fire Training for Line Station staff
  • Raise Purchase Requisitions
  • Administer staff line station car parking applications and renewals
  • Onboarding administration for New Starters
  • Booking Flights, Hotels and Hire Cars
  • Ensure MOT’s and Road Tax are up to date
  • Processing Uniform Orders
  • Ensure databases are kept up to date
  • Roster & Leave management
  • Population and management of the flight schedule.
  • Management of on station CE
  • Procurement of CE
  • P/load management
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure best available prices are achieved
  • Cross cover with colleague counterparts during annual leave periods
  • Accomplishment of such other tasks required by Gatwick Station Manager/Engineering Administration Manager

Operating Environment:

You will be reporting to the Engineering Administration Manager and working alongside the Gatwick Line Station Manager.

The role will operate within a pressured environment with reduced lead times, occasionally working outside of rostered hours to meet operational needs

Qualification & Education:

  • O level or GCSE A-C standard grades
  • Excellent English in both verbal and written form


  • Minimum of two years in an administration role
  • Aviation background would be beneficial

Training & Knowledge:

  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of programs used in daily office administration functions such as Word and Excel
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Aptitude for helping others


You must have the right to work in the UK – Proof will be required at the scheduling interview stage

Shift Pattern:

Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00

Fridays: 08:30 – 14:30
