We are recruiting for Aircraft Mechanics/structural fitters to join our workshop located near Manchester airport.

Reporting to the workshop manager you will be responsible for carrying out all repairs efficiently and on time. Ensuring all work is to a high standard.

During your employment you will have the opportunity to work on site for our customers as well as our hangar located in Prestwick.

Shift Pattern:

Monday – Friday

Working hours; 07:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday. Friday 07:00 – 13:00

Responsibilities will include:

  • Repairs / modification to aircraft components and parts using the latest materials, processes and technologies.
  • Testing and overhauling of aircraft component and parts
  • Ability to understand and interpret Aircraft Tech Data (SRM, CMM, AMM etc).
  • Working to internal job cards

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-years’ experience as a qualified aircraft technician
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility
  • Ability to analyse data
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel etc.)
  • Clean driving license
  • Resilient with the ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Flexibility in terms of travel as required
  • Ability to deal with people at all levels of the organisation
